The best young bull to be bred at Excelsus and has always shown potential, since birth. Mcix (pronounced Makicks) attended the crowning of Chris as International Junior Champ at the side of his dam, who stood a creditable 4th place in the udder class. Bred out of Brindle, a Beesbee son, Brindle was sold to Danie Roux and is still breeding top animals there. Mcix's sire is a Wolfard Aring bred bull, Makam Matrix, Matrix was selected for Excelsus by our good friend Adriaan Odendaal, who selected him on seeing his dam. Mcix has also shown well, always standing second to a host of top bulls, including our 2006 top seller, Socrates, and Benbee, also standing second in the 3-4 yr old class at the International Champs in Windhoek 2007, to Benbee, who was the junior champ.

The proof of the pudding is in the breeding and Mcix has earned the title of our Excelsus Signature Bull of the Year 2998. Scroll through his calf pictures and see top bulls such as Mcaw, Macalica, McChaise and Mcix 2 and heifers such as Tinta 1 and Kelpie 4, to name but a few.
