more details on Excelsus Challis
Challis is used
primarily as a heifer bull for Excelsus and responded in the
most unbelievable way, seizing the opportunity with both hands,
or hooves. He was a surprising top three breeder for Excelsus,
standing well with Mcix and Langman, when an analysis of the
calves from our breeding bulls was done. Another pleasant
surprise is his calves weaning indexes topping the pile with a
Challis son, Canut weighing in at 309kg with a corrected mass of
295 kg out of a first calving heifer, Wexi. A son of our Junior
Champ, Chris, who is also a birth mass trait leader and out of a
Metsibra UDM9453B daughter, Tac. Producing heavy weaners of a
good type, use Challis on Brahman type females.
